A low pressure system will move through New England this weekend, bringing with it some unusually cold Canadian air. Snow levels could fall below 2,000 feet, and there could be some accumulating snow in the Eastern Adirondacks of New York, and the Berkshires, Green Mountains, and White Mountains of Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire. Snowfall in excess of six inches will be possible for the higher peaks. Sunday looks like a great day to get out and enjoy the fresh late spring snowfall, as the storm moves to the east. I would love to be in the High Peaks of the Adirondacks late this weekend! Let me know if you make it out for the fun–should make for some great photographs!

Thanks, Michael! Looks like Whiteface Mountain in the High Peaks got three feet–exceeding my expectations, an amazing storm.
